I wonder....when you enter a quilt shop, does your heart beat a little faster, your knees start to buckle, do you nearly hyperventilate just from the sheer pleasure of being in the midst of sew much fabric??? Or does your head spin thinking of all the future projects waiting here for you to find and take home???
For 40 years and counting, that has been my reaction! I guess I could tell Oprah that I found my passion many years ago.

When I was 11 years old, I discovered my mother's sewing machine and started making myself clothes. It wasn't until I was in 7th grade Home Ec. where I finally learned to put in zippers and hems properly. That semester I successfully made three skirts and all of them fit me! That was my start to a lifelong relationship with fabric and a love for sewing.

Now, my purpose is to share my VERY large fabric stash with you and help you find the many joys there are in creating works of art. Any quilter knows sewing is a great stress reliever. Quilting can be your piece of chocolate, that glass of wine, or your peace.

In my case, my love of sewing has morphed into "sewitis", which also is my business name. Unlike bronchitis or tonsillitis, the doctors have a hard time detecting it but I know it's present in every cell of my body.
